This is good news since most of the time we’d still drive to Chic-Boy Jupiter or Chic-Boy Buendia – Roxas Boulevard for our favorite Chic-Boy meal.

Chic-Boy Pasay Road is located at the Prudential Life / Empire Insurance Company Bldg. in front of BPI Family Savings Bank and Kashmir. Parking space is at the back (Benavidez Street).

Unlike Chic-Boy Jupiter which operates 24/7, Chic-Boy Pasay Road is open from 9 am to 9 pm only.

There are three pet shops located beside YakiMIX: Pet Pals, Paws Alley Pet Center and Pet Passion Dog Shop. Pet Passion has a bigger shop and more pet supplies and accessories as well as staffs so I checked-in my pup there.

There are a number of dogs in queue before us but they had around five or more staffs grooming the dogs at the same time so it didn’t matter. On some pet shops it usually takes three to four hours before you can claim your pet but they told us that we can claim our dog in two hours. We went to MOA first and came had a stroll. By the time we came back after a couple hours or so, our pup was already groomed.

We still stayed for around ten minutes more and I saw that the groomers really work fast. Quality-wise, I wouldn’t say that it’s better or at par with my usual pet shop though. I saw some obvious cuts on my pet’s face just below the eyes and on the paws (between the fingers) when we got home. Maybe that’s what you get for a cheaper service or let’s just say that maybe the groomer who handled my pup was not as good as my usual groomer, to be fair.

The pet shops at the Hobbies of Asia in Macapagal Boulevard charge Php 300.00 for the grooming.

Will I bring back my pet there? The answer is maybe. But next time I’d choose and instruct the groomer to be more careful. Or maybe I’ll try the other pet shops beside.

Hobbies of Asia is located beside the Seaside Seafood Restaurants, in front of HK Sun Plaza Bldg and Philippine National Bank (PNB) Main Office in Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City.

Clearly, Gundam’s giant statue in Japan is a more popular attraction although I was saddened when I read the news about the statue being removed last year. Japan is one of the places I’d love to visit if given the chance and it would surely be cool to have a photo op beside the giant Gundam statue.

Well, guess what? A search in Google led me to a news about Gundam’s statue being rebuilt in Obaida, Japan.

The SM Mall of Asia Giant Ferris Wheel ( MOA Eye ) opened to the public last Friday.  I was able to drop by MOA this weekend and took some photos and a couple of video clips of the Ferris wheel.  I was not able ride the new attraction though because of the crowd. They say that this is the biggest Ferris wheel in the country so far (bigger than that of EKs), having  36 air-conditioned gondolas, each capable of seating up to six persons.

Hope I’d get to ride the giant Ferris wheel this week and take some photos / videos inside the gondola. Meanwhile, check out the photos and videos of the SM Mall of Asia Giant Ferris Wheel below. Oh yeah, A 10 minute ride will cost you Php 150.

Members of the hip-hop community, urban fashionistas, artists and celebrities gathered last Saturday at the Urban Athletics in Greenbelt 3 for the launch of two of the newest brands to hit its store – Dada Footwear and Philippine Street Plan (PSP) X UA Collab Shirt.

From its humble beginnings as a hat and T-shirt company in 1995 designed for the urban basketball youth, Dada is now the hottest urban basketball brand in Europe producing clothing and apparel for the hip-hop community. Some famous athletes and entertainers who have endorsed the Dada urban and athletic lines include NBA players Latrell Sprewell of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Chris Webber, Karl Malone and Horace Grant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Snoop Dogg, Ludracris and Leonardo Di Caprio .

Pilipinas Street Plan (PSP) X Urban Athletics Collaboration

Urban Athletics has always believed in supporting home-grown talents and has recently collaborated with renowned underground graffiti artists Pilipinas Street Plan (PSP). The team up assembled PSP’s top creative artists Whoop, Nemo, Jood and Vermont in designing limited edition shirts that mixes PSP’s artisticity with Urban Athletics’ persona.

A follow-up on the first Pulse Saturdays held last October 8, Urban Athletics also launched the Kings on Deck Vol. 2 Mixtape. The hottest and most talented artists in the hip-hop and urban scence including DJ Nix Damn P. of YenTown Kid Co, MC Ron Thug of Wika Records,  Pow Chavez, Ron Henley and BNK (Blaze and Kane) performed during the event. Unschooled, fresh from winning the bronze medal in the World Supremacy Battlegrounds in Australia also showed off their moves.

Guests were treated to a free flowing beer and an NBA 2k12 competition and celebrity Beer Pong were also played. Exciting prizes from brands such as NIKE, Wip Caps, Adidas, Dada Footwear, and more were given away.

Other celebrities and personalities who attended the event include Dello of Fliptop, Matt Padilla and Orwayne De Leon of Philippine All Stars,  Sudan Daniels, YouTube sensation Moymoy Palaboy and Harvey Carey of Talk and Text.
