The Voice of the Philippines Blind Auditions – Part 2

Jun 16, 2013 by

Second day of The Voice of the Philippines Blind Auditions.

Here are the contestants for today’s Blind Auditions.

Corazon Dela Cruz

Is a rocker chick from Cavite who sells belts for a living. Corazon sang Usok by Asin. She said one of her favorite artists is Sampaguita and you can hear that voice resemblance. Once again it was Lea Salonga and Apl de Ap who turned their chairs around and Corazon picked Apl de Ap as her mentor.

Edward Benosa

Sang It Will Rain by Bruno Mars.  Unfortunately nobody turned their chair around.

Sawsan Sammie Muhammad

Sawsan Sammie / Taw Muhammad Sang Ironic by Alanis Morisette. Lea Salonga and Sarah Geronimo pressed the button. This is the first time Sarah Geronimo pressed the red button and looks like she finally found the style that she’s been looking for. She even gave the singer a bottled water. Sadly, it didn’t work for her and Sawsan Sammie Muhammad chose Lea Salonga.

Miriam Manalo

Miriam Manalo sang Aretha Franklin – (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman. She’s got a powerful voice but nobody turned around. The judges were right, it was the song selection.

Two other contestants,  Alden Asheran Jr. and Ian Masaga didn’t make it.

Abbie Asistio

Abigail Asistio is a singer from Antipolo.  Abbie sang Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys.  Sadly, nobody turned around.
