Photo Contest

 

Guidelines:

 

1. The photo contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers within and outside the Cavite province.
2. All photos must be in FULL COLOR and TAKEN IN CAVITE during the 2012 Independence Day celebration from June 7 -12

3. PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS:

3.1       Only colored photo is accepted

3.2       Print size must be 8R.

3.3       Minor digital enhancement is permitted but images that have been significantly modified or     appear unnatural will be disqualified.

3.4       Images may be cropped and rotated as necessary as long as the rectangular format is                             maintained and the size is within the specifications above.

3.5       No borders or frames

3.6       No watermarks that will identify the photographer

3.7       No date printed in the photo, though date taken must be stated in the registration form

3.8       No adding or replacing of elements in an image

3.9       No artistic Photoshop and filters

3.10     Red-eye removal and spot editing is allowed

3.11     You can use only one-step enhancement, such as Auto Fix, Quick Fix or Auto Levels

3.12     Entry should be submitted in short brown envelope with the registration form enclosed.             Submit entries at Aguinaldo Shrine, Kawit, Cavite from June 13-16 from 800 AM-500                               PM only.

3.13     Entry must be submitted by the original photographer only and photos taken by another             person will not be accepted.

3.14     No Registration fee. Maximum of three (3) entries per participant is allowed.

3.15     All entries will be officially owned by the CPTBI and may be published on all tourism                                promotional collaterals but the name of the photographer will be included.

 

4.  Judging

 

All entries will be judged by a respected Board of Judges on June 18 where TOP 3 photos will be             chosen and announced as 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Prize Winners.

 

 5.         Criteria for judging are as follows:

Expression of Theme                          40%

Photographic Quality                          25%

Compositin                                          25%

Creativity                                            10%

TOTAL                                                100%

 

 

4. Winners will be notified three days after the final deliberation via email or telephone.

 

 5. Prizes are as follows:

1^st Prize                       Php 10,000 + certificate

2^nd Prize                                5,000 + certificate

3^rd Prize                                3,000 + certificate
