PhotoWorld Asia 2012 Schedule of Activities – Philippines

Now on its second day, the PhotoWorld Asia 2012 will be running until Friday next week. The 9-day event scheduled from January 26 to 31, 2012 (in Manila) is an annual event sponsored by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, Inc (FPPF) that comprises of a photography trade show and a series of photography seminars conducted by renowned local and foreign photographers.

The PhotoWorld Asia 2012 photo trade show is at Glorietta Activity Center, Makati and the educational series at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). A hands-on workshop / photo shoot will also be held on January 31 at the Fernbrook in Las Piñas. Topping off the event will be a photo safari in Banaue from February 1 to 3.

PhotoWorld Asia 2012 is headed by its Chairman, the multi-awarded travel photographer George Cabig.

The 2012 PhotoWorld Asia’s speakers and guests includes American commercial photographer Jack Reznicki, German sports and nature photographer Peter Frank, US professional photographer Doran Wilson and top American digital guru Don Emmerich. Also highlighting the event are noted Filipino photographers Manny and Boboy Librodo, Daks Bangawan, Luis Liwanag, Lester Ledesma and Eric Cabales.
