Puerto Princesa Underground River has been named as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature !
Puerto Princesa City, Palawan and the entire country has placed a lot of effort to campaign for the Puerto Princesa Underground River to be included in the New Seven Wonders of Nature and I’m glad that we just did it.
I was just watching a travel show featuring the Puerto Princesa Underground River a couple of nights ago and I learned that the number of tourists visiting Palawan has constantly increased these past years and specially when Puerto Princesa Underground River has been nominated for the New 7 Wonders of Nature and featured in numerous print, broadcast and online media both locally and abroad. The boom in tourism helped improved the local economy and created additional jobs for the people in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. (And this will surely increase now that the Puerto Princesa Underground River has been officially included in the New Seven Wonders of Nature).
Congratulations!!!
