Cherry Mobile last Friday launched the newest additions to its Android smartphones and tablets lineup.
Introduced were a number of Dual SIM Android Smartphones and Internet tablets which aims to compete with high-end brands at reasonable prices.
First up are two new funky Dual SIM Android Smartphones, the full touch screen Cherry Mobile Candy and its QWERTY version, the Cherry Mobile Candy Chat which comes in hip and vibrant colors, a good choice for the young ones.
Also launched was the Cherry Mobile Magnum 2x Dual Core Android Smartphone, this model is on top of Cherry Mobile’s smartphone range featuring a 1GHz Dual Core Processor, 3.8” screen and a dual camera. There’s also the Cherry Mobile Stellar which is a cheaper alternative and probably a good choice if especially if you’re looking for a Dual SIM Android smartphone.
Next up are Cherry Mobile’s internet tablets. I was able to play around with the Cherry Pad Turbo. Featuring a 1.2GHz processor, HDMI support and a dual camera this tablet is already a steal for its price. The UI was responsive and fast, except of course for the obvious plastic feel. But still, it’s better than buying those Chinese internet tablets/clones. There is also the cheaper predecessor, the Cherry Pad with a bit slower 800MHz processor.
On top of Cherry Mobile’s internet tablet line-up is the Cherry Mobile Supreme, a dual core internet tablet powered by nVidia Tegra2 Dual Core 1 GHz Processor. Too bad I was not able to check out this one.

Apart from the Android smartphones and internet tablets introduced, I was surprised with the wide range of phones that Cherry Mobile has. Visit Cherry Mobile’s Facebook page and official website for more on these other products.
