i just did the manual update to android 2.1 from SE service centre in India (ahmedabad)
i just tried using camera and it says camera not available
can someone help

Hi Joey, I found your blog while googling about the Android 2.1 for Xperia X10i. I’m trying to update mine through the phone’s Software Update function, but it keeps on telling me that that I already have the latest software version even though the phone status says my Firmware is still 1.6. Also, the SE blog says that my kit already has the 2.1 OS available for update.
Any ideas on how to upgrade to Android 2.1?
i downloaded (the latest) and reinstalled first the pc companion. after that, i mounted my x10i then the pc companion prompted me with a window saying that a new software update is available, then from there, i just followed the instructions.
