Stephen and Fritz, the guys from eepybird.com are here in the Philippines for the Mentos Coke Zero Geyser event.
Dubbed as “The Mentos Fresh Burst Geyser World Record Blow-up”, the event will happen later this afternoon, October 17, 2010, 5:30 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds.
Sponsored by Coca-Cola Philippines and world’s favourite candy maker Perfetti Van Melle, around 3,000 participants and students from Rizal Technological University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Adamson University and University of the Philippines are expected to join the event as the county attempts to break the world record for the largest simultaneous soda geysers held in one single location. The existing Guinness World record is 2,433 bottles by Mexico.
Sandwich and Callalily will also be performing this afternoon.
UPDATE: We set the new world record with 2,856 geysers! Congratulations to Mentos and Coke!!!
