We were at the Vibram Five Fingers Media Launch earlier at Paolo’s Bootcamp, Metropolitan Club in Rockwell Makati.
Athletes, sports fanatics, celebrities, health, sports, fashion and media personalities were demonstrated the many benefits of the Vibram Five Fingers such as better flexibility, stronger muscles, and improved posture among others.
VIBRAM FIVEFINGERS is a unique footwear design that mimics the feeling of being barefooted. The Vibram Five Fingers is made of abrasion-resistant stretch polyamide fabric and Vibram TC-1 performance rubber weighing 5.3oz. each. It was unveiled last 2006 and was awarded as one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2007.
Although pretty famous in Europe, North America and Australia, it was just recently that the footwear was introduced in Asia. Here in the Philippines, Vibram Five Fingers is being distributed by Barefootwear Inc.

Daddy Joey, thanks for the photo. VFF is fantastic, tried it already a while ago and I feel and did ran faster and lighter compared to wearing my running shoe. But I think I’d still take some more time to get better accustomed with getting a feel of the ground. Nice seeing you at the event.

I ran with RunningAtom that night, the first 2.2K is awesome. I don’t feel any stress in my feet. But the next 2.2 feels painful in my shins. But I know I’ll get used to it. Love to wear that tomorrow here in the office
