UPDATED: July 14, 2010 12:00 p.m – Tropical Storm CONSON (BASYANG) finally changing its course while over the South China Sea…now on a WNW track, farther away from Luzon.

Early this morning, typhoon BASYANG or CONSON passed very close south of Manila early along Laguna-Cavite Area. It is expected to continue tracking WNW to NW-ward across the South China Sea for the next 3 days and will exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow morning.

PAG-ASA DOST site has been experiencing downtime. Mainly because of the huge amount of traffic to the website, you can check updates on Typhoon2000 site instead.

Be safe everyone!
