T.G.I.Freeday from SMART Communications, Another Reason to Love your Friday

Updated: Remember that BIG and FREE, for 18 and Up ONLY post from SMART that kept a lot of us guessing?

Well, SMART Communications Inc. has recently spilled the beans on their Facebook fanpage.

The Secret: TGIF or T.G.I.Freeday – A one-time FREE mobile internet on Friday, July 30 for all SMART mobile subscribers.

Although I must admit that I was expecting something else (with all that 18 & up thing), they did not fail on coming up with something BIG and FREE. :)

Now this gives us one Freeday Friday to tweet, poke, post, plurk, surf, google, yahoo, uzzap, gomail, B.B.M., and surf  all we want using our mobile phones.
This takes the hassle out of looking for hotspots at the malls and other establishments – for a day :)

I do a lot of checking of emails and updates of my social networks on my mobile phone so this is not a bad deal.
Let’s just hope that they will make this a weekly promo :)
