The Venice Piazza Mall

There is a new mall in McKinley Hill, Taguig and it’s called The Venice Piazza Mall. I attended a couple of Megaworld events in McKinley Hill before and I believe this is one of their primary steps in putting up ‘that’ Venetian themed commercial and residential real estate in the area – they’re putting up a seven residential towers integrated with the mall for this project (Megaworld has other residential projects in McKinley )

The Venice Piazza Mall is an outdoor mall with the same concepts as the ‘Venetians’ in Las Vegas and Macau (as what their agents always say). It will even feature a grand canal and gondola rides – now, that’s Italian.

Okay, so I was on leave early this week, which happened to be the soft opening of the mall. So I decided to visit the mall (minus the free food tasting and overflowing beer/drinks of course) and took some photos.

The mall design is almost similar as of that in Eastwood City. I remember how Eastwood was before and how it is now. Soon, McKinley Hill will also be as developed as Eastwood City, or better, since it is just minutes away from Makati and given the bigger land area.

I wish it was Jollibee. There is already a Mickey Dee’s in Upper McKinley. Good thing there’s KFC. But still, I would be glad to see a Jollibee in McKinley.
